Fremantle is on the Indian Ocean. It was a beautiful day and some families were playing on the beach!
Look in the distance you can see a lighthouse.
Behind me in this photo is the rest of the Maritime Museum. There is a lot of history in Fremantle from convicts coming to Western Australia by boat, and many military boats coming and leaving from Fremantle. The US Navy also still visits Fremantle as a port of call from time to time.
Here you may not be able to see it well, but there is a small island in the distance. That's Carnac Island. There are a few islands off of the Fremantle coast. That's my little friend, Aiden, running in the sand. It was a lovely day!
